imo I think tagging is most important to me when consuming “”problematic”” content. saw a fic author refuse to tag the fic w ‘sexual harassment’ and deny that it was harassment. the fic was leaning hard into a/b/o as an allegory for modern day issues abt rape culture. author changed their mind but realizing the depiction of harassment wasn’t intentionally written that way made me feel v gross. idk if this makes much sense but knowing that the author understands their content makes a huge diff
