The ManFlu Saga
- Husband: Maybe I should go to the doctor tomorrow? I think I might have pneumonia.
- Me: If you feel you should go to the doctor, then go.
- Husband: *starts googling symptoms*
- Husband: I don't think I have pneumonia. I might have an upper respiratory tract infection, though.
- Me: Please stop self-diagnosing yourself through Web MD.
- Husband: Web MD? What's that? I was looking on Wikipedia.
- Me: It's a self-diagnostic website. Please don't look it up -
- Husband: *typing* W-e-b M-D...
- Me: *sighs, takes child to bed*
- Me: Why don't you put your dinner on?
- Husband: Shh. I'm diagnosing.
- Husband: *continues reading*
- Husband: I think I have... the common cold.
- Husband: Or tonsillitis. Will you check my tonsils?
- (In fairness, he is legitimately and properly sick, on account of how babies are basically disease vectors and ours coughed in his mouth. But still!)
