Anonymous asked: Your review of Asylum helped me straighten out a couple of things in my head - two jarring moments within the episode, in fact, where something seemed very very wrong. In Parliament, the Doctor says 'I thought you'd run out of ways to make me sick.' When facing Oswin, he says simply 'You are a Dalek.' And in both situations, he is completely out of character - because the Doctor doesn't /hate/, not ever. He's supposed to be primarily intellectual, exploratory - and instead he is angry. What?
I don’t object to the Doctor being angry, per se - I just wish his emotional responses were even vaguely consistent.
