Anonymous asked: Do you agree that Moffat can only write sexy, overly-flirty female characters? After watching Asylum, Oswin seemed just like a merge of River and Amy.

I won’t go so far as to say he can *only* write those characters, but certainly in the context of Doctor Who, that seems to be his overwhelming preference - and I’m not even sure it’s a conscious one. River, Amy, Sally, Reinette and now Oswin are all strikingly similar, and while that particular character archetype isn’t innately bad, the fact that he keeps replicating it is decidedly problematic (to say nothing of dull and repetitive).
